Collection: CONCERN - DRY SKIN

Skincare for Dry Skin

Dry skin can feel tight, rough or uncomfortable and sometimes it seems as though no amount of moisturiser is enough.

You might notice flaky patches, increased sensitivity, dullness or makeup sitting differently across the skin. In some cases, the issue is not simply a lack of moisturiser, but a routine that is not giving the skin the support it needs to retain moisture and maintain a healthy barrier.

This collection brings together skincare selected for dry skin, with options to support hydration, comfort, softness and a stronger, more resilient skin barrier.

At Touch & Glow Skin & Laser Clinic, we work with skin every day. We know that choosing products for dryness is not always as simple as reaching for the richest cream, the right approach depends on why your skin feels dry, what else it is experiencing and how the rest of your routine is working.

Why does skin become dry?

Dry skin can be influenced by your natural skin type, age, hormonal changes, seasonal weather, environmental exposure and the products you use.

Over-cleansing, frequent exfoliation or introducing too many active ingredients can also leave skin feeling tight, uncomfortable or more reactive than usual.

That is why we look beyond the immediate feeling of dryness. A good routine should help support the skin over time, rather than relying on repeatedly applying heavier products without considering what may be contributing to the problem.

Choosing skincare for dry skin

The best routine depends on how your dryness presents and whether other concerns are involved.

Depending on your skin, you may benefit from products that support:

  • lasting hydration
  • moisture retention
  • the skin barrier
  • softness and comfort
  • dry, flaky or rough-feeling areas
  • sensitivity associated with dryness
  • a smoother, more supple appearance

The products in this collection have been brought together to make it easier to explore cleansers, serums, moisturisers, masks and other formulas suited to dry or moisture-depleted skin.

Dry or dehydrated?

These terms are often used interchangeably, but they do not mean exactly the same thing.

Dry skin generally refers to skin that produces less oil, while dehydrated skin is lacking water. It is possible to experience both, and even naturally oily or combination skin can become dehydrated.

This distinction matters because repeatedly adding richer creams is not always the answer. Understanding what your skin is actually lacking can make it much easier to choose products that suit it.
